Barcelona Views

I’m sitting at my house in Austin, relaxing after a journey home that was extended to 34 hours by flight cancellations and reroutings. I enjoyed the delay because I met some great people and had some great conversations over the course of the ordeal. I also got to fly first class for the first time as a result of my flight changes! Here are some photos looking back on the last part of my trip – spent in Barcelona:

The Supermoon on the night of the Sant Joan festival. Spanish people gather on the beach and celebrate with fireworks until the sunrise. The fireworks are meant to give strength to the sun!

  1. Sorry to hear you were so delayed in getting home too! I sat with you on your flight from Barcelona to Philly. Our group of 31 ended up renting vans and leaving Philly at midnight and driving back to Indy since our flight was cancelled.
I am enjoying your blog and your great pics. Enjoy Hawaii and all the beauty it has to offer. Jan
